公民黨一致通過  梁家傑和陳淑莊5.16參選

公民黨今晚舉行特別推選大會，38名黨員出席，另有3張授權票，一致通過兩位辭職議員梁家傑和陳淑莊分別在九龍東和香港島參加5.16立法會選舉，隨即召開記者會，宣布上述決定。梁、陳二人訂於4月7月遞交提名表，報名參選。公民黨黨魁余若薇呼籲選民在5月16日投票，她說，愈多選民投票，港人爭取真普選的籌碼愈多。

梁家傑說，有人認為「投票無用」，如果真實如此，特首不會對五區公投運動如此緊張，建制派亦不會大力打壓。他呼籲選民珍惜每一票，亦期望5.16後公民黨成為更受市民認同的政黨。他亦呼籲泛民主派槍口一致對外。

陳淑莊說，能夠參與五區公投運動，深感榮幸，公民黨一周歲時有勇氣派人參加特首選舉，公民黨今年4歲，更不會懼怕困難，將會繼續爭取民主。

在記者會中，余若薇被問及對終極普選聯盟的政改方案的看法，她說，最重要是大家目標一致，要求全面廢除功能組別，有了這先決條件，公民黨對於任何中途方案或細節都是持開放態度。

公民黨主席關信基認為，最重要是選民履行投票責任，都是比民調更有血有肉的表態。
