公民黨副主席梁家傑、黎廣德到訪英國倫敦帝國學院與學生會面

公民黨代表團梁家傑、黎廣德、陳淑莊正在英國參加交流團。當中梁家傑與黎廣德於英國時間二月二日晚上八時半，到訪倫敦帝國學院演講室並與60名學生進行大約兩個兩個小時的分享會。

會面舉行當日，英國正遇上二十年來最大的風雪，受到雪災影響，巴士和地鐵停駛，但仍然有學生不惜冒著暴風雨，步行超過三小時前來與公民黨的代表會面。

有出席同學十分關心特區政府施政混亂的問題，梁家傑回應時表示，現時政府再度出現弱勢管治的問題，主要原因是行政長官並非由普選產生，曾特首只是商界和北京「送來管治香港的特首」，施政時只會偏重於把持既得利益的選委會選民，因此政策方向都會由商界主導，難以兼顧整體社會利益。梁家傑認為香港必須盡快落實普選政制，才可以達致良好管治的目標。

梁家傑認為，曾特首未能從金融海嘯中汲取教訓，他仍然迷信金融業可以養活七百萬香港人，所以香港的經濟前景令人擔心。黎廣德則認為曾特首應該發展綠色產業及文化創意產業，一方面解決環境污染問題，另一方面創造新的就業機會。

此外，學生關心的問題包括『無國界工程師』支援重建四川的進度、畢業回港後的就業前景等。當中有一位同學表示「我在廣州長大，雖然家在香港，但沒有放棄大陸户籍，因為希望學成回國後不止是貢獻從西方帶回來的科技，你看我們怎樣替中國的舊體制闖出一條新路？」
