公民黨去信要求律政司就周梓樂同學之離世召開死因調查

科技大學學生周梓樂於11月3日凌晨於將軍澳發生示威期間，不幸墮樓，頭部重創，送院搶救延至今日離世，公民黨對此深感痛惜。

楊岳橋指梓樂是第一個年輕人在示威現場受傷而失去生命，社會輿論對事件的經過與責任均議論紛紛，包括如何受傷，救援途中有否受到阻礙等。雖然警方一再嘗試公開撇清警隊與事件的關係，但似乎無法阻止社會各界就事件所作出的各種猜測。

楊岳橋又指為了還死者公道、讓社會各界了解事件的真相，認為律政司司長有責任行使香港法例第504章《死因裁判官條例》第16條所賦多的權力，要求死因裁判官就周同學的死因作出調查、召開研訊，以釋公眾之疑慮，願死者安息。
