公民黨呼籲政府暫緩皇后碼頭的清場行動

公民黨今天(31日)下午公開呼籲：鑑於高等法院正準備就皇后碼頭的司法覆核展開聆訊，政府應立即暫緩在皇后碼頭的清場行動，以避免發生不必要的衝突或造成任何損傷。

公民黨認為，政府必須等待司法覆核的結果才可執行下一步行動，現階段進行清場是絕無必要。

正在皇后碼頭絕食的三位年青人，已經絕食了五天，身體愈見虛弱。公民黨認為只要政府宣佈暫緩清場以表示誠意，相信絕食行動亦可暫停。

本著關心年青人的身體狀況和避免引發不必要的損傷，政府應暫緩清場，並接納公民黨建議的調解方案，委任獨立專家小組進行檢討。
