公民黨回應近日有關黨總部租務之傳媒報導

公民黨回應近日有關黨總部租務之傳媒報導：

  1. 2009年公民黨位於灣仔的總部辦事處租約期滿，業主大幅加租。公民黨未能負擔昂貴租金，於是物色其他租盤。
  2. 因公民黨的政黨背景，物色租盤的過程中，遭不少業主拒絕，公民黨估計將來每次物色租盤或與業主續租都會遇到類似困難。
  3. 為長遠計，12名支持者(包括公民黨執委、黨員及非黨員)決定掏腰包，合資880萬元購入北角屈臣道4-6號海景大廈B座2樓202室，租予公民黨作總部之用。880萬元包括850萬元樓價，及30萬元買賣物業所需費用例如律師費、印花、佣金等。
  4. 購買該物業不涉公帑。
  5. 購買該物業目的不是牟利，而是為公民黨穩定發展，故此，該面積3,673平方呎的物業，月租僅3萬元，頭3個月免租，2009年10月起租，至今沒有加租。有書面合約，現租約直至2014年7月。
  6. 上述12名支持者透過一間公司(即公共事務調研中心有限公司)持有該物業，而12人均以個人名義持股，股東資料可查冊，有透明度，由始至今從來沒有變動。
  7. 租金收入一直存於公共事務調研中心有限公司的銀行戶口，扣除須繳交的稅項、會計師樓、商業登記費及其他相關費用後，存款至今累積至大約93萬元，從無發放董事袍金或股息，董事或股東無拿取一分一毫收益。帳目有專業會計師核數，有透明度，亦有按法例交稅。累積的租金收入將來有何用途，須由公司股東商量，現未有定案。
  8. 公民黨每年的租金支出已包括在公民黨會計帳目及每年公民黨會員大會報告內，並交由黨員大會省覽及通過。

持有該公司股份的立法會議員梁家傑及余若薇，有向立法會申報。亦持股份的湯家驊日前承認漏報，並已補交。
