公民黨回應高等法院暫緩執行外傭居港權案判決的申請

高等法院拒絕政府提出暫緩執行外傭居港權案判決的申請，法官亦確認，提出申訴人是否符合香港永久居民資格，需由入境處處理。

公民黨黨魁梁家傑表示，法庭裁決充分確認入境處有權根據入境政策處理外傭居港權的申請，沒理由要提請人大釋法。他指出，公民黨一直支持任何人只要符合《基本法》24條內的列明條件，就有權作出申請；入境處有足夠權力根據一套合法、合憲、公平的機制來決定怎樣處理個別居港權申請，為香港的入境政策「守門口」。

對於有政黨人士不斷矮化入境處的把關能力，將入境處對非中國籍人士申請居港權說成無險可守，並動輒要求人大釋法，公民黨呼籲市民認清真相，不要被誤導。
