公民黨地區主任古文翰就削減巴士路線的澄清

今日有報導指公民黨在削減巴士問題上，黨政策與個別地區出現矛盾情況。報導指公民黨新界西支部黨員古文翰在本年四月份在葵青區發佈的地區通訊中，反對運輸署建議削減青衣出九龍的巴士服務。
公民黨地區發展主任古文翰澄清，他一直支持重整巴士線以改善空氣質素，但政府在建議改動巴士路線時，必需同時提供全套巴士交通的重整方案，包括重整的目標、理據、配套工作如轉乘優惠等，令市民獲得充份資訊，並努力在社區內達致共識，而不是貿然削減個別社區的巴士服務。
公民黨自去年12月起倡議「綠色新政」，在今年2月15日的記者會上，已經指出巴士是路面交通的主要污染來源之一。
就此，公民黨建議政府成立特別基金，以協助各巴士公司更換減少排放懸浮粒子的巴士型號，並考慮引入如使用壓縮天然氣或柴油電力混合燃料的新型巴士。此外，政府可以透過與巴士公司的合作，確保公共資源投放用於環境改善之上而毋須增加乘客負擔，從而確保得到公眾支持，並有效改善空氣質素。
