公民黨對趙連海事件的立場

公民黨知悉內地毒奶粉事件家長代表趙連海於今日(10日)被判兩年半的有期徒刑。對於趙連海由受害者變成被告，我們對此感到忿怒及遺憾。

趙連海以「尋釁滋事罪」判囚兩年半，公民黨認為，一名尋求社會公義的人居然被檢控，實在非常荒謬。

整個審判過程是閉門進行，甚至趙連海妻兒被禁到庭旁聽，於企圖入庭旁聽時甚至被警察趕走，公民黨認為，審訊程序有欠公開及透明。

公民黨要求當局能公平公正地處理是次案件，還毒奶粉事件的受害者及家長一個公道，亦不可限制記者採訪趙連海家人及其代表律師，維護採訪自由。

公民黨將於明天(11日)中午12時在西區警署集合，之後到中聯辦示威抗議，要求即時釋放趙連海。
