公民黨就《醫生註冊（修訂）條例草案》的聲明

公民黨執行委員會昨日（7月12日）察悉立法會黨團就《醫生註冊（修訂）條例草案》二讀投票的報告，執委會明白這項議題具爭議性，議員的投票取態建基於不同考慮。但立法會黨團處理今次投票的表現不理想，應確保同類情況不會再次發生。

在醫委會改革的議題上，公民黨的立場一直都是以病人為先，推動遲來的改革，建立更公義的申訴制度，目的是更有效保障病人、醫療事故受害者與家屬的權利。但特區政府的建議令人擔心專業自主會受到政治干預，加上梁振英的政治黑手曾多次干預其他界別，前車可鑑，實難釋除公眾疑慮。

由於《醫生註冊（修訂）條例草案》極具爭議性，公民黨認為政府應調動議程，讓路予消防條例及私營骨灰龕條例草案。若政府一意孤行，強行闖關，多名公民黨立法會議員將於餘下的審議過程積極發言闡述立場。郭家麒議員亦會就條例草案提出修訂，令醫委會內醫生直選與政府委任的比例，變為18 : 14，將可確保醫委會內維持專業自主。

若政府拒絕接納郭家麒議員提出的修訂，而繼續審議條例草案過程如再需要投票，公民黨六位立法會議員將會一致，包括在條例草案三讀時投反對票。
