公民黨就「銅鑼灣書店事件」公開聲明

銅鑼灣書店店長林榮基先生今天公開自己在內地被強制拘留的經過。公民黨認為事件是回歸以來最嚴重的政治擄劫事件，中央政府完全無視一國兩制，更以脅迫手段要求林榮基「自願」放棄通知家人及請律師，做法極為可恥。

林榮基先生指出，他在內地期間被強制拍攝「視頻」，並在不情願的情況下「承認犯罪」。李波先生更曾向他表示自己在香港被強行帶回內地，證明公安曾在香港跨境執法。由此可見，中央政府一直隱瞞真相，欺騙港人，而保安局根本無盡力營救被拘禁的銅鑼灣書店五子。 公民黨強烈譴責中央政府捏造事實，掩飾政治擄劫事件。

公民黨認為特區政府必須：

1. 嚴正要求中央政府保證不會傷害林榮基及其他銅鑼灣書店的相關人士
2. 就內地公安跨境執法事件向中央政府提出嚴正交涉
3. 嚴正要求中央政府向特區政府轉交涉案公安，由律政司提出檢控
4. 成立專責委員會徹查事件，承諾一有結論，馬上向全港市民交代
5. 公開向全港市民道歉
6. 涉事及知情政府官員立即問責下台
