公民黨就特區政府支援四川重建策略的意見

公民黨於七月十四日召開記者招待會，就特區政府支援四川重建策略給予意見。公民黨認同汶川地震災後重建工作非常重大，因此歡迎特區政府積極回應四川省政府對於支援重建的需要，提供額外資金。由於這是特區政府成立以來第一次參與跨境災後重建工作，在政府官員缺乏相關經驗的情況下，制訂合適的重建策略及清楚界定政府的角色至關重要。因此，公民黨建議政府立即與所有参與賑災重建的香港民間人道組織召開圓桌會議，商討最佳的重建策略、資源分配和使用機制。另外政府應澄清申請二十億元撥款的迫切性，具體金額的使用時間和項目清單。
