公民黨強烈譴責襲擊在京採訪記者行為

據報今日(3月8日)下午，四名香港記者及攝影師在北京採訪社運人士楊匡，探訪諾貝爾和平獎得主劉曉波太太劉霞時遇襲。採訪期間，屋苑內多名男子突然衝向記者們，拍打及阻止記者採訪，其中無綫電視攝影師更被五人按在地上，頭、手、腳及全身多處受傷。

公民黨對此表示極度憤怒，並強烈譴責施襲者，要求其道歉。立法會議員毛孟靜重申，新聞自由及記者採訪自由絕對不能被侵犯，當局有責任防止暴力及野蠻行為發生，並嚴懲施襲者。
