公民黨澄清有關電子煙立場

公民黨反對香港引入電子煙及其他新煙草產品，以及反對電子煙及其他新煙草產品合法化，以保障香港市民，特別是青少年的健康。
郭家麒議員在今日立法會衞生事務委員會提出以下議案，明確表達公民黨之立場，措辭如下：「鑑於電子煙及其他煙草產品對人體有害，同時亦會增加年青人染上吸煙習慣的機會。因此本人動議，政府應盡快全面禁售電子煙及其他新煙草產品」。
對於有報導指煙商向傳媒「推薦郭榮鏗議員查詢法律意見」，意圖造成公民黨與煙商在上述議題上立場一致的印象，公民黨對此誤導的言論表示極度遺憾。
公民黨重申，絕不接受任何有附帶條件或指定用途之捐款，所有捐款人都不能干預及影響公民黨的運作及立場，公民黨的立法會議員和區議員亦不會以捐款人在任何議題上的取態作為投票時的考慮。
公民黨確認，曾經有煙草商購買公民黨2018年籌款晚宴的門票2張，共值港幣6,000元。除此以外，公民黨並沒有收取任何煙草商的任何捐款。
