公民黨簽署「全民提名聯署約章」

公民黨副主席陳淑莊及立法會議員毛孟靜今日(8月25日)應邀出席學民思潮的「全民提名聯署約章」記者會，公民黨同意「約章」的修訂內容，是聯署政黨之一。

「約章」聯署政黨作出了兩點承諾﹕一、全民提名（提名委員會由全港選民組成或全港選民擁有均等提名權）為最優先爭取目標；二、呼籲市民在各種投票支持貫徹「全民提名」的政改方案。

毛孟靜表示，「真普選聯盟」就行政長官選舉的七點共識，包括選民聯署提名。她建議真普聯與學民思潮共同推廣「公民提名」權，爭取市民支持。

陳淑莊說，若有人認為「公民提名」違反《基本法》，歡迎提出理據並公開辯論。

公民黨一直支持普及平等提名權，平等的提名權是每人應有的基本權利，「公民提名」權是抗衡在提名委員會進行任何篩選的最有效方法。公民黨將會全力推廣「公民提名」，爭取民意支持，此外，公民黨議員將來在政改方案投票時跟隨民意，支持在全港民調或公投中獲得「民意授權」的方案，落實2017年特首普選。
