暫停雙非孕婦配額和擱置自駕遊
及時化解中港矛盾
公民黨早前就暫停雙非孕婦來港及擱置自駕遊舉行全港簽名，市民反應非常踴躍，亦於日前到行政會議請願，要求立即停雙非配額，並呼籲政府對此不能再猶豫不決，應採取果斷行動解決問題。
公民黨執委郭家麒指出，特區政府應優先照顧本地孕婦及港人內地妻子（即「單非」孕婦）的需要，並為解決雙非問題，採取以下具體措施：
1. 要求衛生署立即暫停向雙非孕婦簽發「預約分娩服務確認書」；
2. 大幅增加入境處人手及增派醫護人員，協助全面堵截雙非孕婦入境；
3. 聯同內地相關部門全力打擊中介公司及其活動，並嚴懲闖關人士。
終於，今日特首曾蔭權就雙非事件作出正面回應，清楚表明特區政府有能力加強行政措施以解決雙非問題。
另外，社會近日非常關注即將公佈的「自駕遊」計劃，公民黨指出，基於下列三大理由，自駕遊計劃必須立即擱置：
1. 危害路人生命安全
2. 加劇污染危害健康
3. 憂成「雙非直通車」
由於政府處理雙非事件的力度不足，雙非孕婦連連出現闖關產子，令公眾對內地人來港產生憂慮，前車可鑑，政府應該有所借鏡，立即擱置「自駕遊」計劃，重新展開研究並諮詢市民，保護港人生命健康，亦化解日趨激烈的中港矛盾。
