公民黨繼續要求與吳克儉見面 討論學界關注教育議題

教育局局長吳克儉今天出席上任後首個教育事務委員會會議，會議前，公民黨陳家洛再邀請吳局長會面，要求立即停止用公帑資助內容偏頗、為唱好而唱好的所謂「正面」教材，因為此舉絕對不誠實，絕對不專業，並憂心對下一代的影響。公民黨認為，市民不會認同政府近年以推動「國民教育」爲名，向一些本地左派團體輸送利益。
公民黨陳家洛表示，吳克儉作為教育局局長，必須：
一)停止以公帑贊助左派機構及組織；
二)停止製造左派思想的國民教育教材；
三)立即撤回國民教育科，重新諮詢。
他指出，吳克儉應先擱置執行國民教育，虛心求教公民教育學者，並將原來5億資助學校推行國民教育的撥款用作協助學校自行決定如何加強本身教學工作。
他再次要求吳克儉儘快定出與民間社會會面時間，與民共議，爲香港的教育定出合適的方向。
