公民黨聯同購買雷曼相關產品的客戶代表與花旗銀行會面結果發布

公民黨立法會議員余若薇於今天（21日）聯同數名購買雷曼相關產品的客戶代表，與花旗銀行銷售及分銷業務總監蔡麗鳳等管理層會面，會面結果發布如下：

Ø      銀行接獲投訴後，會根據客人的合適度及銷售手法而決定會否作出賠償。合適度指客人的年紀、投資經驗、教育程度、投資之目的及風險承受程度；銷售手法指有否為客人完成風險評估及有否根據證監會的指引簽署買賣文件。

Ø      公民黨余若薇呼籲銀行在處理個案時，如發現存在灰色地帶，可考慮酌情處理，向個別客戶提出中間落墨方案。

Ø      銀行會於兩星期內就公民黨轉交的個案提交進度報告，之後每月更新。公民黨於會議上向銀行轉交七十多宗個案，另外五十宗個案會於下周內遞交。

Ø      銀行表示，客戶如不滿調查結果或能提供更多資料，可以作出上訴，銀行承諾會儘快處理。
