公民黨聯同購買雷曼相關產品的客戶與永隆銀行會面結果發布

公民黨立法會議員余若薇於今天（21日）聯同約30名購買雷曼相關產品的客戶，與永隆銀行助理總經理談葆釗先生等管理層會面，會面結果發布如下：

Ø      銀行方面表示，已收到大約有一百宗投訴個案，現正跟進處理，銀行會在接獲投訴後四星期內有結果。如果發現銷售過程中銀行有過失，銀行會作出全數或部份賠償。
Ø      銀行旗下與雷曼有關產品的價值約涉及四億元。
Ø      銀行承諾會於兩星期內向客戶發放有關產品的簽署文件及風險評估報告，但不願意公開有關產品的內部銷售指引。Ø      大部份與會者都是永隆銀行的長期客戶，亦非常信任銀行，而且亦滿意永隆銀行過往所提供的服務。有客戶代表表示，銀行應以更積極的態度處理今次事件，亦要顧及前線員工的感受，避免再影響前線員工與存戶之間的關係。
Ø      銀行表示正跟進回購迷你債券之有關工作，包括委任安永會計師事務所為獨立財務顧問，但會上未有提及時間表。Ø      銀行表示會將會上提出的建議向董事局反映。
Ø      下次會議日期為十一月三日(星期一)。時間、地點待定。
