公民黨聯同雷曼苦主與星展銀行會面結果發布

公民黨立法會議員余若薇聯同雷曼苦主，與星展銀行高層會面，銀行承諾若證實分行職員以不良手法推銷結構性零售債券，會向客戶負責。

星展銀行代表承認Constellation實為星展的特定目的公司，為發行結構性零售債券而成立。代表承認若分行職員向客戶表示產品其中一個相連機構出現信貸問題，客戶可取回其他七個相連機構的款額是錯誤信息。

星展銀行代表表示正就300宗案展開調查，研究銷售過程中是否涉及不良手法。

公民黨在會上要求星展銀行：

Ø      仿傚新加坡政府做法，委任有公信力的獨立人士，如退休法官，核實銀行調查工作，確保調查得以公正進行；

Ø      在今年10月24日(即銀行通知客戶有關贖回條款當日)向客戶提供不同和解方案，供客戶考慮；

Ø      提供銀行員工內部銷售指引，令客戶在判斷銀行職員是否違規一事上有所依據；

Ø      要求星展銀行盡快回覆公民黨於今年9月28日發出的函件，令雷曼苦主盡快獲得進一步的資訊。
