公民黨聲明

上月14日，旺角行人專用區發生「青關會」成員以橫額包圍法輪功成員事件，林慧思老師因不滿現場警方處理手法，用英文粗口責罵警員，事件在網絡上引起很大迴響，林老師更受到多個團體狙擊。公民黨認為：

1. 林老師在路見不平時使用不雅用語，確屬不當，但她已向學校、家長及學生致歉，我們認為各界不應再對林老師窮追猛打，並支持她繼續執教。

2. 事件源起乃市民質疑警方處理青關會包圍法輪功事件不當，我們認為警方及監警會應檢討警員在事件中的處理手法是否恰當。

3. 我們亦關注，傳媒報道有警務人員以WhatsApp訊息號召同僚出席聲討林老師的集會，警方必須徹查及公佈調查結果。
