公民黨要求召開財經事務委員會特別會議商討電訊盈科事件

上市公司電訊盈科因私有化所引發的種種爭議，已經受到社會的廣泛關注。公民黨認為，在現時的《公司條例》中，已仔細訂明上市公司私有化的程序，而主要股東及少數股東的法律權益亦有清楚界定。公民黨一直捍衛公眾投資者以及消費者的權益，而私有化過程的公正性及完整性，更應該得到合理的尊重及維護，任何損害到這過程的不當行為，都會影響到社會的整體利益，是不能容忍的。

因此，公民黨強烈要求證監會：

１．    在最短時間內，立即就今次事件中任何不當行為的指控作出調查；並在必要時向法庭申請命令，尋求將法庭審核私有化申請之聆訊日期延後，好讓法庭能夠有充足的資料去判定今次電訊盈科私有化的申請；

２．    盡早公開所有調查結果，並將有關資料盡快交予法庭，好讓法庭能就此作出恰當的裁決。

公民黨同時會繼續監察今次事件，並已向立法會財經事務委員會提出召開特別會議，商討今次事件之要求。
