公民黨質疑食環署留難71遊行宣傳活動

公民黨先後3次向食環署申請於6月期間在銅鑼灣街頭攞檔宣傳71遊行，均不獲食環署批准，理由是有關地點已分配予其他組織或太遲申請。公民黨認為，食環署有拖延審批申請和留難之嫌，遂要求政府代表明日在立法會大會質詢環節解釋，是否意圖減少71遊行人數。

4月23日，公民黨向食環署申請於6月份每個星期六、日(總共8天)在銅鑼灣百德新街行人專用區攞檔，進行宣傳活動，遲遲沒有回音，直至6月9日收到食環署覆函，表示上述地點上述日期已分配予其他組織使用。

6月12日，公民黨再次向食環署申請，於6月15至30日在銅鑼灣渣甸坊行人路和時代廣場對出空地攞檔宣傳。6月18日食環署回覆，是次申請亦不獲批准，因為申請須於活動舉行前12個工作天前遞交。

公民黨早於4月向食環署提出第一次申請，內容簡單，但食環署竟然花了長達7個星期審批，最後更聲稱有關地點在該8個日子均已有其他組織使用，而公民黨亦未能有充裕時間申請改為其他地點。公民黨質疑食環署故意留難，極為不滿。

明天立法會大會，民主黨議員甘乃威將會口頭質詢政制及內地事務局局長，當局拒絕政黨在行人專用區設置攤位宣傳71遊行，是否為了減少遊行人數，或其他政治考慮。
