公民黨選舉委員會界別分組選舉結果

公民黨選舉委員會界別分組選舉結果

公民黨在2011年特首選舉委員會界別分組選舉中，共有28名黨員出選，其中24人成功當選（詳細名單詳見附件），當選率為85.71%（06年公民黨共派28人出選，20人成功當選，當選率為71.43%）。

公民黨認為，上述選舉結果反映：

1.    選民期望泛民主派取得足夠提名，派代表參與明年3月特首選舉，而在競選過程中反映社會上的不公，促使其他特首候選人在民主和民生議題作出以民為本的承諾。

2.    選民支持泛民選委候選人的政綱，包括盡快實現真普選、廢除功能組及在真普選前不會就《基本法》23條立法。

公民黨相信，泛民選委將會盡其所能，監察下屆特首的表現，包括有否捍衛核心價值如人權、法治等。

公民黨將聯同其他泛民人士積極推動下月8日舉行的泛民初選，選出一位泛民代表，爭取選委提名，參加特首選舉。
