反對兩電加價申請

兩電加幅驚人 無視巿民生活逼人

經濟發展事務委員會於前天舉行會議討論「與兩間電力公司進行周年電費檢討」，對於 “兩電漠視巿民負擔能力，大幅增至差不多一成，公民黨強烈表示不滿”。公民黨認為是次不合理加幅，將使香港通脹加速升溫，造成巿民經濟壓力，故強烈要求兩電重新審視有關加價的申請。

公民黨現促請兩電重新考慮及政府嚴格把關，並提出下列要求：

1.    電力公司應全面檢討現行電費計算機制，鼓勵用戶節能減排
2.    在2018年現行利潤管制計劃屆滿後，政府應開放電力市場，讓兩電再無壟斷市場空間
3.    電力公司應做好成本控制，以減低巨大的電費加幅
4.    政府應該要兩電交出原材料的實際價格，讓議員可以監察兩電的運作成本，不讓他們輕言以成本增加來加價，蒙混過關。
