反對機管局親疏有別 排斥泛民區議員

香港機場管理局與一個名為「荃灣各界協會」的組織，於9月28日在荃灣區內舉行招聘日，惟獲邀參與協辦的十六個區議員辦事處，全屬建制派及其友好，泛民主派幾位荃灣區的區議員則無被邀請，只能從活動宣傳橫額得知其事。

公民黨荃灣區議員陳琬琛質疑，機管局作為特區政府全資擁有的法定機構，理應恪守政治中立原則，但局方連平日舉辦地區活動也「親疏有別」，拉一派、打一派，「篩走」民主派區議員。他擔心，公營機構日益「赤化」，到選舉年，泛民主派會面對更嚴重打壓。
