反對西隧加價 要求政府回購兩隧

公民黨於今日(2日)上午於立法會門外示威及遊行至政府總部，抗議西隧昨日起加價，有十數名請願人士出席，當中包括公民黨立法會議員陳淑莊及一眾地區發展者，並將市民反對西隧加價的簽名遞交政府。
公民黨認為，是次西隧加價，幅度遠比通脹高，除了會進一步拉高通脹外，亦會令更多駕駛者改用紅隧及東隧，直接增加兩隧的交通流量，令擠塞問題更加嚴重。
另外，要解決隧道收費不一的問題，政府要從社會整體利益出發，盡快著手籌備回購東西兩隧。回購東西隧後，要審慎平衡營運成本及社會成本，最可取的方法是由三隧聯營，即是建立一間由政府、三間隧道專營所組成的控股公司，使訂定收費時，必需同時顧及三條隧道的平均流量，甚至可根據不同區域的道路網絡需要，以價格調節三條隧道的車流，減輕隧道的擠塞問題。
