的士收費和八折黨問題惡化。代表法律界的立法會議員吳靄儀今日致函律政司司長黃仁龍，指出的士收費不單只是一個交通政策，而且關乎法治原則，不應該任由的士收費的政策和法例長期處於游離狀態，含糊不清，使到按錶收費的司機和付費的乘客猶如傻瓜。(It is the duty of the Government not to make fools of these citizens.)

吳靄儀促請政府不要逃避責任，盡快決定的士收費制度的政策方向﹕是或否容許的士司機和乘客議價，並作出有關的法例修訂，例如，立法規定司機和乘客同樣有責任按錶收費和付費。
