唯有堅持 才見希望

1. 民望淨值負數的林鄭月娥竟反常當選，足見小圈子選舉制度的荒謬。不得民心者當選，戮穿了中央政府掩飾高壓統治的幌子；整個特首選舉制度之失敗，在於勝出者能否得到中央祝福，無法如實反映香港人的意願。中央並非要團結香港，而是實行君臨天下式的高壓管治，為此不惜干預選舉、背棄一國兩制、破壞港人治港的承諾。如此開局，新班子施政定必舉步為艱。

2. 公民黨譴責建制派，特別是坐擁近200票的民建聯和工聯會，支持低民望、低誠信的林鄭月娥，白白浪費了一次中央與港人修好的機會。公民黨重申，只有沒有篩選的真普選的制度，才能以一人一票如實反映民心背向；選出的特首，才能獲廣大市民認受，有人和，才能暢順施政。

3. 林鄭月娥聲稱與香港人同行，我們將嚴謹監察她未來施政有否信守承諾。公民黨亦奉告林鄭月娥摒棄梁振英事事與民為敵、剛愎自用、無視規矩、諉過於人的作風，勿再撕裂香港。

4. 公民黨同時呼籲民主派支持者及各界市民，放下過去兩個月的分歧，團結一致，重新振作。我們明白有此選舉結果，難免失望，但唯有堅持，才見希望。公民黨相信香港人面對挑戰時不會輕易放棄，即使前路困難重重，我們仍然會繼續推動民主運動，堅守監察政府施政的本份，同時亦呼籲香港人即使活於政治低氣壓，也要在各自崗位竭力守護本港核心價值，奮起反抗，寸土必爭，守護香港。
