回應《競爭條例草案》修訂

公民黨立法會議員湯家驊今早聯同泛民議員代表，與商務及經濟發展局局長蘇錦樑會面，表達對當局就《競爭條例草案》作出的修訂。湯家驊強調民主派對政府的修訂感失望，要求當局交待會否在工商界的壓力下再作讓步，警告政府「不要以為泛民的20票是鐵票」。
湯家驊指局方的修訂令人有以下三方面的憂慮：
(1) 在「第一行為守則」下把相關的違法罪行劃分為「嚴重違反」及「不嚴重違反」，後者只予以「告誡通知」而不會作出懲罰，根本沒有阻嚇作用。
(2) 修訂中的「低額模式」訂為營業額達一億元的企業，過於寬鬆。修訂下即使數間企業合謀定價，但只要他們營業額未達一億元亦可獲豁免，失去阻嚇作用。
(3) 修訂中大幅降低罰款上限至本地營業額一成，取代原本草案內國際營業額一成，實際上是放生了「國際大鱷」。
他表示會與泛民議員再仔細討論當局提出的修訂內容，並了解市民及企業的看法，再決定是否支持修訂。
