回應學民思潮今日對公民黨的評論

公民黨黨魁梁家傑說：「現階段公民黨致力推動公民提名，相信這是抗衡篩選的有效板斧；各方團體或人士分別提出政改方案，百花齊放，公民黨包括湯家驊同意，將來必須透過例如電子投票方式取得公民授權，決定一個沒篩選的政改方案。」

湯家驊重申尊重不同意見

本人一向尊重不同的意見，尤其是重視年輕人的意見，但提出方案乃在《基本法》下一没有篩選之民主方案。最民主的目的，是希望有關各方可以有充分時間考慮和商討，共探共識。若任何人認為有切實可行之方案廢除《基本法》有關條文，相信社會亦願聞其詳，但最終少數人也不應凌駕多數意見之上。要建立一個民主社會，單靠普選是不足夠的，我們必須學懂包容兼聽，普選才有意義。今天我們已走至普選的關鍵時刻，惟普選之路陰霾滿佈，政改之路更是複雜難行。本人期望各界能從多角度思考如何於2017年落實一個沒有篩選的真普選。
