回應精神健康諮詢委員會 有關兒童及青少年精神健康問題

昨日精神健康諮詢委員會主席黃仁龍向傳媒表示，政府計劃於2019年首季展開3部份的大型普查，分別針對6-17歲、15-24歲的兒童及青少年，以及60歲以上長者的精神健康，最快2021年有首份報告。

我們尊重諮詢委員會的建議，但涉及精神健康的悲劇，卻不斷地發生。諮詢委員會的建議及以上的普查，將無法協助現時正在面對學習障礙、或精神健康問題的人士及家庭。在普查報告完成前，政府在這三年間亦有責任作出承擔，改善精神健康服務所面對的問題。

公民黨立法會議員郭家麒表示，今日已去信食物及衞生局，要求政府盡快制訂政策，以改善精神健康服務所面對的問題，特別是青少年及兒童所面對的問題，同時要求與食物及衞生局局長陳肇始就此議題會面討論。
