回應豁免商務客強制檢疫令 措施或成防疫缺口

食物及衞生局局長陳肇始今日宣布，延長599C章《若干到港人士強制檢疫規例》至6月7日，從內地到港者仍須接受14日強制檢疫，但新增兩類豁免人士，包括跨境學童及商務客等。公民黨立法會議員郭家麒批評，政府決定新增豁免人士，卻「無原則、無數字、無細節」提供，而關口為最高危的防疫缺口。現階段應維持入境限制，豁免部分人士形同主動打開「「引狼入室」。
郭家麒表示，現時香港大部分為輸入個案，隱形病人隨時從關口入境「播毒」，故現階段維持入境限制尤其重要，須從源頭阻截病毒。惟政府今日宣布豁免兩類人士，形同引狼入室。
郭家麒說，政府高調宣布延長強制檢疫令，卻未宣布會否放寬限聚令，令人質疑政府決定是基於政治壓力。他指摘政府，對豁免強制檢疫令沒有準則，未有解釋何謂「符合香港經濟發展利益的生產作業、業務活動人士」，是否等同任何營商者都可以豁免、是否內地商人就可獲發「免死金牌」在本港橫行。
他又指，香港的學校尚未復課，政府又忽然豁免跨境學生強制檢疫，明顯是公關手段。若政府只豁免商界「唔好睇」，故連同跨境學生及教師一同豁免，免招人話柄。翻查教育局數據，2019-20學年有逾2.5萬名跨境中小學生，若貿然讓如此多人來港，只會增加社區傳染風險。
政府未能交代符合豁免強制令的估算人數，又未能制訂如何追蹤、分辨、病毒測試相關豁免人士，郭家麒斥責陳肇始完全不負責任，若爆發新一輪疫情，政府難辭其咎。
