強烈譴責中央政府及行政長官破壞一國兩制

行政長官林鄭月娥今午公佈，中央向特區政府發出公函，支持特區政府依法禁止民族黨的運作，同時要求港府就有關事情向中央提交報告。

公民黨對於中央政府直接干預特區的內部事務，打壓結社自由，而行政長官又全面跪低的做法表示強烈憤慨及譴責。公民黨認為，有關的操作只屬特區內部事務，中央根本不應就此置喙，行政長官更不應就個別內部事件向中央政府提交報告。

公民黨擔心，有關做法是企圖將中央直接干預特區內部事務﹑打壓特區內的異見聲音常規化及合理化，是對一國兩制﹑高度自治的徹底破壞，公民黨要求特首停止將報告交予中央，同時向立法會詳細交代有關事件。
