新免費電視 香港人應得嘅事！

立法會議員毛孟靜今日(2月3日)發動網民於公民廣場舉行集會，多名民間代表發言，要求政府尊重立法會決議，於3月底前就額外免費電視牌照作出決定，並盡快發出牌照。

毛孟靜表示如政府3月底前仍未有回應，將追究到底，要求成立獨立委員會調查事件及處理牌照申請，過程應披露政府為何遲遲不作決定的原因及所有關於處理申請的文件。

香港記者協會麥燕庭認為政府以行會保密制為籍口，遲遲不作回應，而牌照申請機制亦非常落後，應參考歐州議會的有關制度，將整個申請及上訴機制透明化。

城電職工會代表楊志豪亦同意應盡快發牌，讓新電視台職員安心工作，業界同工亦可享有合理待遇。同時，增加電視台亦有助培訓本地創意媒體人才，發展創意工業。

本來，上月中發表的施政報告提供好好機會讓政府回應市民有關訴求，但特首選擇以司法程序作擋箭牌，拒絕作出任何承諾，漠視公眾利益。毛孟靜強烈譴責特首失職表現，並已去信要求盡快發出新免費電視牌照。
