新界東北發展摧毀家園 促政府關注原區居民訴求

新界東北發展方案爭議不絕，公民黨立法會議員湯家驊今天獲邀出席環保觸覺，有關簡介東北發展民間專家方案的記者會。湯家驊直指︰「政府漠視原區居民居住環境的訴求，欺壓弱小社群，完全不符合社會公義。」湯家驊促請政府接納民間提出的替代方案，收回三分二的粉嶺高爾夫球場用地，用作發展新市鎮。

湯家驊直言︰「我熱愛高爾夫球，但更熱愛社會公義；政府漠視原區居民居住環境的訴求，不符合社會公義。即使政府以整體社會利益為由，發展新界東北，也屬欺壓弱小社群，不符合社會公義。」

對於外界形容，收回粉嶺高爾夫球場三分二用地是「仇富、報復、民粹」，湯家驊完全不能接受此說法。湯家驊直指︰「倘若有方案可以讓原區居民不用流離失所，我會毫不保留支持此方案。」湯家驊促請政府聆聽社會的訴求，接納民間提出的替代方案。
