有關長沙灣副食品批發市場第二期用地事宜

有關長沙灣副食品批發市場第二期用地事宜

 

深水埗區議會於本年六月接獲規劃署及房屋署文件，擬於長沙灣副食品批發市場第二期用地之臨海地段興建私人住宅或酒店，本人及當區不少居民對規劃署上述建議表示強烈反對。

閣下於競選期間及當選為行政長官後，曾多次表明要加快興建公屋，縮短市民輪候公屋的時間，現在竟將大幅市區土地興建私人樓宇甚或酒店，實在有違  閣下之施政理念。規劃署更在缺乏公眾諮詢下，擬於下月匆匆將有關計劃提交城規會討論，意圖製造既定事實，將有關計劃急急上馬。

本人建議規劃署將長沙灣副食品批發市場第二期之用途，作出廣泛諮詢，並考慮將有關用地更改為公營房屋用途。不少深水埗居民亦表示即使政府認為需平衡區內過多公屋，規劃署亦可考慮在該地段興建「夾屋」或「居屋」，讓不能負擔購買私樓的當區市民得以在原區置業安居。深切期望特區政府認真研究本人及居民之建議，真正做到「務實為民」。
