梁家傑向黎棟國遞交抗議信 要求刑事調查濫用私刑警員

今日凌晨，警方驅散集會人士期間，註冊社工、選舉委員會委員、公民黨成員曾健超被扣上索帶，毫無反抗能力，但仍然被六至七名警員帶往添馬公園僻靜處。從電視台新聞片段所見，有警員以執法為名，私刑為實，對曾健超動用私刑，拳打腳踢，令他身體多處受傷。事後，曾健超向律師透露，在警署被拘留期間，亦被警員掌摑。有關警員涉嫌觸犯刑事條例。
公民黨對事件表示極度震驚及憤怒，強烈譴責警方濫權！公民黨黨魁梁家傑今日向保安局局長黎棟國遞交抗議信，要求特區政府向公眾清楚交代，立即拘捕該六至七名警員，作刑事調查，不可包庇涉事警員。
