歡迎公眾街市凍租 盡快改善營商環境

對於食物環境衞生署今日公布再度延長凍結公眾街市租金，一直有跟進街市凍租問題的公民黨黨魁梁家傑表示，歡迎政府延長凍租期至2015年底，但促請食物及衞生局局長高永文，盡快回應改善街市營商環境及交待顧問研究方向兩大訴求。

梁家傑在今年五月及六月陪同高永文巡視港九多個公共街市，並提出三方面要求，包括政府須於今年7月9日最後一次食物安全及環境衞生事務委員會上，提交委聘顧問研究公共街市的重點方向；其二是承諾改善街市營商環境，包括安裝冷氣等；以及承諾在公布新的公共街市政策前，保證繼續凍結街市租金。

梁家傑稱，事務委員會新一年會期已展開，但仍未聽到局方交待顧問研究方向及具體改善街市營商環境措施，公眾街市政策涉及商戶及基層市民貼身利益，呼籲局方盡快作出回應。他並會爭取立法會盡快成立公眾街市事宜小組委員會，全力跟進街市政策問題。
