歡迎撤控 要求道歉 公民黨促政府釐清執法指引

一直協助遭食環署拘控無牌擺賣的朱姓拾荒老婦的公民黨東區區議員黎志強表示，食環署徵詢律政司的法律意見後，已撤銷針對朱婦的檢控。公民黨對此表示歡迎，並認為此舉乃合情合理之舉。同時雖然食環署已經撤控，黎志強表示會繼續跟進朱婦在其他範疇的需要。

公民黨指出，食環署今次檢控決定屬不可理喻，因而要求署方向朱婦道歉。同時，事件反映食環署前線執法人員似乎未有按照前食物及衛生局局長周一嶽於2011年就處理小販問題提出的「先警告，後執法」原則。因此，公民黨要求食環署立即釐清現時處理無牌小販的指引。公民黨亦要求政府當局盡快安排就相關政策進行交流，以避免同類事件重演。
