毛孟靜促請漁護署只發放單一類動物繁殖者牌照及延長諮詢

毛孟靜昨日在食物安全及環境衞生事務委員會上提出動議，促請漁護署只發出單一類動物繁殖者牌照予動物買賣者，使動物繁殖行為受更有效監察，動議通過。毛孟靜與動物地球及非牟利獸醫服務協會今日與食衛局副局長及漁護署官員就發牌事宜會面，期間亦有官員直認，若根據現時諮詢文件的發牌建議執法，將是一個挑戰。

另外，毛孟靜及動物權益團體強烈要求當局延長發牌建議的諮詢期，讓市民有足夠時間了解議題及表達意見，以進一步保障動物的健康和福利。
