毛孟靜要求漁護署還漁民公道

禁漁補償不公道 可疑火燒連環船

立法會議員毛孟靜今日(1月24日)與約100名漁民於政府總部外示威，抗議因禁止拖網捕魚的援助津貼發放準則過程黑箱作業，同時向漁民特惠津貼上訴委員會遞交約150個個案資料，要求盡快處理有關上訴申請。

日前屯門青山灣發生火燒連環漁船，國際漁業聯盟主席楊潤光認為此案相當可疑，因為火警始於船尾，而不是較多易燃物的地方如廚房等，消防處必須徹查事件。他表示香港是法治社會，不應有漁民因為挺身而出爭取公義，而遭受到財產甚至人身安全的威脅。

毛孟靜早前多番與漁護署交涉，終於得到援助津貼的分區詳細資料。根據數據顯示，現時共有269艘合資格近岸拖網漁船獲得約8億3千多萬的特惠津貼(詳情可參閱下頁圖表)，當中香港仔及長州「船籍港」分別有57及30艘合資格漁船，這與漁民認知的漁船數目相差一倍，因此懷疑當中涉及「架名船」，即是有可能內地船主借用本地漁民之名申請特惠津貼，造成不公平情況。

楊主席表示，如果三至四個月內署方仍未作出正面回應，不排除與受影響漁船堵塞香港主要航道抗議。

毛孟靜亦強烈質疑部分漁護署發出的津貼金額竟遠超當初呈交立法會財委會文件所顯示的上限，要求署方認真交代原因。她表示會密切跟進事態發展，將會繼續向有關當局索取各「船籍港」的分項及其他詳細資料。
