毛孟靜遺憾關愛基金 未酌情幫助N無人士

立法會議員毛孟靜今日(12月19日)於會上就關愛基金「為居住環境惡劣的低收入人士提供津貼項目」追問運輸及房屋局局長張炳良，會否就特別個案設有酌情權，可惜局長顧左右而言他，未有積極協助N無人士改善居住環境，毛孟靜對此感到失望及憤怒。毛孟靜特別提到九龍城街坊李太的例子，李太一家四口居住一個只有120呎的頂層單位，大廈沒有電梯，李太每日需要攜抱兩個女兒上落六層樓梯。加上單位日久失修，天花窗戶破落，夏天時日曬雨淋，李太一家經常不能安睡。
由於該「蝸居」是獨立單位，並不屬於私人樓宇內的劏房、板間房、閣仔或床位，因此不符合津貼項目資格。馬頭圍區內亦有不少生活於這種惡劣居住環境的低收入家庭需要協助。局長了解此類特別情況後，仍拒絕承諾為這些獨立單位設有酌情權，漠視他們的困境，實有違設立關愛基金的原意，毛孟靜表示極度遺憾，現促請有關當局透過其他不同渠道幫助這類N無人士。
