民主派區議員開會被阻 譴責林鄭月娥 鄭若驊卸責

公民黨非常關注今午東區區議會發生的民主派區議員開會被阻事件，民政事務署必須澄清及交代沒有佩戴工作證的疑似保安的真實身份，並提供理由解釋為何他們有權阻擋議員進入會議室。根據《簡易程序治罪條例》第23條，任何人抗拒或阻礙公務人員執行公務，屬於刑事罪行。

公民黨譴責特首林鄭月娥和律政司司長鄭若驊將DQ候選人的決定推卸在任職東區民政事務專員的選舉主任身上，令其背上政治責任，成為磨心，亦嚴重怠慢東區區議會事務，影響民生。事件反映政府把本應政治中立的公務員牽涉入政治漩渦當中，不但令一眾公務員受壓，更親手摧毀了他們的公信力，手法卑劣。

公民黨強烈呼籲特首林鄭月娥和律政司司長鄭若驊承認DQ候選人是他們的決定，面向公眾，承擔責任。
