助聖雅各福群會慈善義賣

由陳淑莊、余若薇立法會議員辦事處及聖雅各福群會合辦，陳啟遠區議員辦事處、梁兆新區議員辦事處及公民黨港島區支部辦事處(南區)協辦的Green Ladies慈善舊衣義賣將於3月7至8日舉行。

著名藝人汪明荃割愛捐出兩套衣飾，身體力行支持是次活動。其中一套是2003年「明荃之友會」為汪明荃慶祝生日時，她穿著的一身迷人Pink Lady 服裝；另一套則是她數年前出席一個慈善籌款活動時穿的旗袍，極具紀念價值，而陳淑莊更充當模特兒即場穿上旗袍示範。

在今日的記者招待會上，陳淑莊率先展示她多年前的一個酒會上，與已故藝人梅豔芳合照時穿著過的旗袍。余若薇則先捐出其年輕時的潮物：白色百摺長褲，稍後亦陸續捐出其他衣服。

大會會在3月1日下午1時至5時，分別在南區(置富南區廣場外)和東區(太古地鐵站A2出口外)開設街站收集女士衣服、手袋及飾物等；另外，大會亦會積極接洽其他社會人士，捐出潮流衣飾等。

義賣期間所有二手衣飾售價由$10起，收益將全數撥捐聖雅各福群會就業拓展服務，為失業人士開設再培訓課程。此外，聖雅各福群會亦會利用所收集的衣物為待業婦女提供面試穿衣指導服務，協助她們早日重投勞動市場，自力更生。
