海豚「希望」離世 基建勢將全數趕盡殺絕 陳家洛要求環境事務委員會盡快討論基建工程對海洋生態的影響

據報，早前受傷獲救的中華白海豚「希望」傷重不治，公民黨立法會議員、環境事務委員會副主席陳家洛對「希望」的離世表示惋惜，並即日去信立法會環境事務委員會，要求盡快討論有關保育海洋生態的議題，尤其是多項大型基建工程及繁忙的海上交通極有可能對自然環境造成破壞。
陳家洛擔心，若本港水域無止境地出現多項大型基建工程，加上單單依靠現行環評制度把關，更多的「希望」將被趕盡殺絕。
另外，針對本港近期接連發生海豚受傷及死亡個案，陳家洛已於一月下旬分別去信機管局和環境局，關注數項大型基建工程，包括第三條跑道工程計劃，對海洋生態構成的影響，及嚴正要求機管局立即推行海上交通管理措施；以及查詢環境局有否就中華白海豚及江豚受創或死亡個案的資料制訂數據庫，及有否制訂針對海上交通航線及來往海天客運碼頭的高速船的管制措施，以保護海洋生物及助公眾了解和監察基建工程的影響。
