以下是立法會議員湯家驊就政總和立法會發生暴力衝擊事件之聲明。

昨晚及今晨於政總和立法會發生率的暴力衝擊事件，令我深感痛心和遺憾！事實證明了人大常委會之政改方案，不但未能化解困擾香港多年之內耗爭拗，更進一步加深了社會的嚴重分化。我和絕大多數港人均殷切期盼中港雙方嚴肅思考，如何盡快扭轉現時這只求對立、不進反退之局面，暫棄互相抗拒之既有思維，為特區的長遠民主發展和長治久安而加倍努力！
