為人權 為人道 民運人士有權來港

公民黨黨魁余若薇、立法會議員梁家傑、吳靄儀、執委毛孟靜、陳清橋及一批黨員，由立法會遊行到政府總部，要求特首基於人道及人權立場，容許王丹、吾爾開希等民運人士入境，出席司徒華的喪禮。

致特首信件內容如下：

曾蔭權先生：

民運人士入境有權入境參加司徒華喪禮和悼念活動

司徒華先生日前辭世，司徒華先生一世為教育、為民主事業作出重要貢獻，得到社會各界的尊敬。治喪委員會將於本月28、29日舉行追思會及安息禮拜。

王丹及吾爾開希等海外民運人士，已清楚公開表示希望來港致哀，並承諾在港期間，除了出席司徒華先生的有關悼念儀式外，不會參與其他公開活動。

公民黨認為，香港政府不管在人權或人道立場，均應批准王丹、吾爾開希等海外民運人士的入境申請，令他們可以出席司徒華先生的喪禮，親身表達對逝者的敬悼與哀思，特區政府此舉，順應民情之餘，亦可同時證明維護一國兩制。
