公民黨舉行街頭簽名運動
爭取「停止地產山計劃，人民規劃政府山」
早前政府發表「中區政府合署新貌—回復綠色中環」項目計劃，以重建中區政府合署西座，及藉該項目出售屬於全港市民的「政府山」。公民黨堅決反對政府出賣政府山，因為（一）政府庫房水浸，實在不應繼續向發展商傾斜，變賣家當；（二）出售政府山等同摧毀歷史，違反文物保育原則；（三）強建5層高的商場及32層高的商廈，實屬胡亂規劃，只會令中環交通環境惡化；及（四）興建5層商廈會掏空政府山，製造翻版尖沙咀Heritage 1881。
為此，公民黨副主席黎廣德、立法會議員陳淑莊及南區區議員司馬文今天中午聯同中西區關注組羅雅寧，於中環舉行街頭簽名運動，；另外，我們亦設立網上簽名頁面，網址為http://www.petitiononline.com/ourcgo/petition.html，反對政府提出的地產山計劃，爭取由人民規劃政府山。
公民黨重申，政府應小心保育西座，並將西座及政府山的公共空間予市民享用。最後，公民黨再次要求政府立即採取以下步驟：
1. 進行了一系列的開放日，讓廣大市民了解和欣賞政府山和其建築群；
2. 進行一次廣泛的公眾參與活動，包括公開聽證會和研討會，以便諮詢市民有關政府山最合適的公眾用途；
3. 特區政府應委託獨立專家，在政府山現場進行考古挖掘，並公佈其調查結果；
4. 延長公眾諮詢期至12個月，以配合考古挖掘調查和公眾參與活動。
