特首好大喜功 總部草率完工

為了讓曾蔭權能在新政府總部辦公、為了曾蔭權可以邀請國務院副總理李克強來港主持新總部揭幕儀式、為了令曾蔭權可以在新立法會大樓內宣讀他任內最後一份施政報告。為迎合長官意志，不惜偷減工序，犧牲工程質量，以趕工讓新政府總部盡早落成。結果，讓新總部淪為「豆腐渣」工程，甚至有警員為了要趕及週四的開幕儀式，在工程未完成的環境下執勤，並讓釀成意外。
特區政府近年的面子工程層出不窮，申辦亞運，由始至終申亞的帳目都不清不楚；批出了669億連接國內鐵路網，但原來到現在仍未弄清連接的是「高鐵」還是「動車」；港珠澳大橋的動工後才發現環評報告不合規格。無一項不能證明特區政府的好大喜功，為求迎合長官意志，一意孤行往臉上貼金而進行面子工程。現在，特區政府似乎忘記了以往的種種教訓，為了特首能在其功業上記上一筆，又再犯同一錯誤。
為此，公民黨及關懷香港今天到添馬艦新政府總部請願，向政府遞交請願信，要求政府立即暫緩遷入新總部，讓工程有足夠時間進行，以保障所有在新政府總部辛勤工作的建築工人及其他公眾人士的安全，並取消週四的開幕儀式。
