薄扶林補選步入高潮 公民黨歡迎電視辯論

薄扶林區區議會補選將於9月5日舉行，公民黨派出熟悉規劃和城市發展議題的黨員司馬文參選。亞洲電視國際台「時事縱橫」(Newsline) 節目主持人褚簡寧 (Michael Chugani) ，近日邀請兩位候選人在節目上進行討論，預計在本周日播出。司馬文已接受邀請。
公民黨歡迎兩位候選人在電子媒體進行公開辯論，認為此舉有助提升區議會的地位，並讓選民知所取捨。公民黨希望隸屬滙賢智庫的候選人劉延東先生，能盡早確認有關安排，使節目能在本週四錄影，並在本週日順利播出。
另外，公民黨在針對鋼綫灣卸泥口的調研中，發現政府在港島區的卸泥政策出現很多漏洞，部門間的不協調，使很多社區承受不必要的污染和交通安全風險。公民黨正約見多個政府部門，積極跟進。
